Dorothy J. Hill is a multifaceted woman having served in many roles throughout her life. Her development was nurtured by a village of strong women providing a foundation of security, strength, and resiliency. The I.Em.U. Foundation has afforded Dorothy the opportunity to serve others and impart upon them the same inspiration, empowerment, and uplift she received from birth. As a mother, educator, and higher education professional, she has had a unique experience serving diverse populations of varying socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.

Dorothy knows the impact of holistic care, tending to the mental, physical, and spiritual needs, as they are all interconnected and are the pillars of healthfulness. Having personal experiences with many of the challenges others are faced with, she persisted to push beyond all barriers to accomplish her goals and has been privileged with the opportunity to give back to others.

The I.Em.U. Foundation is here to contribute our efforts toward effective change in our communities and beyond, equipping them with the essential tools required for a healthy and successful life.
